PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
More species of animals are going extinct everyday, so what exactly can we do to help?

Protecting The Environment = Animal Welfare

Recent studies estimate about eight million species on Earth, of which at least 15,000 are threatened with extinction.

The baseline extinction rate is about one species per every one million species per year.

What does the term "extinction" mean?

Extinction is the death of all members of a species of plants, animals, or other organisms.

How is extinction caused?

Animal extinctions may be caused by natural occurrences such as climatic change and human activity. Habitat destruction, pollution, the introduction of foreign species, and hunting are all examples of human activity which have led to extinctions of species.

Now more than ever, we need to make change, starting from ourselves.
